The Energy Commission is the sole body regulating and promoting all matters relating to the electricity and gas supply industries in Malaysia. Given its sizeable portfolio, the Energy Commission would face a constraint in resources if it is expected to also discharge the full functions of a feed-in tariff implementing agency.
