Expansion of Program Categories
Program NUR : PKMS Dan Chiller
Currently, the Nikmat Untuk Rakyat (NUR) program has been further expanded to include the industrial and commercial sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises
With the participation of the industrial sector and PKMS in the NUR program, more companies have the opportunity to reduce operating costs through energy savings, while also contributing to efforts to lower carbon emissions and strengthen green energy sustainability practices.
This inclusive approach is also expected to accelerate the country’s transition towards a low-carbon economy, enhance the competitiveness of local businesses, and create new opportunities in the development of renewable energy technologies in Malaysia
NUR Program Objectives

Raising public awareness, including among industrial and commercial sectors, on the use of energy-efficient appliances that help reduce electricity consumption costs

Promoting energy-efficient practices among domestic, industrial, and commercial sectors.

Increasing the number of 5-star and 4-star energy-efficient electrical appliances available in the market

Enhancing energy efficiency as measured by Malaysian Standards (MS) 1525 and protecting the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions through lower energy generation.
