Occupational Safety and Health Policy
SEDA Malaysia is committed to promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and others who work for SEDA Malaysia in accordance with the national regulations on Occupational Safety and Health.
In pursuit of the above, SEDA Malaysia is committed to the following :
- Create a safe and healthy work environment equipped with the necessary tools and equipment that are needed in order to eliminate or mitigate any activity that presents a risk to safety and health at the workplace;
- Ensure that each employee, staff, client, contractor and visitor is responsible in safeguarding his or her own safety and that of the others;
- Provide information, guidance, directive, training, and supervision in order to enable employees to develop a self-disciplined attitude towards performing their daily duties while exercising the highest level safety and health practices;
- Ensure that all individuals who deal with SEDA Malaysia, including contractors and other stakeholders, comply with the Occupational Safety and Health rules and regulations; and
- Continuously review and improve this Occupational Safety and Health policy to ensure that it serves its purpose at all times.

Energy Policy
SEDA Malaysia is committed to continuously promoting, managing energy efficiently and effectively based on the related available best practices and with the National regulations on Energy Management.
To accomplish this, SEDA Malaysia is committed to the following :
- Establish a committee from various backgrounds / expertise / departments led by the top management;
- Providing human capital development training encompassing awareness training for all staff and technical training to the selected officer;
- Continuous improvement in energy management;
- Dissemination and sharing of information on energy management and energy efficiency practice to every employee;
- Upgrading (in stages) office equipment to more efficient and cost-effective; and
- Collect energy consumption data on quarterly basis for continuous improvements, assessments and monitoring.
